“Powering Pennsylvania” is the theme for the 109th Pennsylvania Farm Show, and Pennsylvania College of Technology will be in attendance, sharing its empowering possibilities. Set for Jan. 4-11 at the Farm Show Complex & Expo Center in Harrisburg, the largest indoor agricultural event in the country attracts hundreds of vendors and thousands of exhibitors showcasing their skills. The show welcomes farmers, families and food lovers. Admission is free.
Two Penn College employees were honored as nominees in Northcentral PA YWCA's 16th annual Women of Excellence Award Ceremony, held recently at the Community Arts Center in downtown Williamsport. Tanya Berfield, director of student advocacy and Title IX coordinator, and Angela L. Stackhouse, head coach of softball, were among 21 Women of Excellence nominees.

A dozen students comprise the 2024 class of inductees to Pennsylvania College of Technology’s chapter of SALUTE, a national veterans honor society. "Being recognized for achieving this high standard of academic achievement in front of their fellow veterans provides an avenue to distinguish themselves among a group that has already done amazing things in their lives," said Chet Beaver, assistant director of student advocacy for veteran/military.
